Trainer Quad

Just got an announcement from Hobby Lobby about a low cost RTF Quad that could be used to learn how to fly so you wouldn't be risking your Copter Control Board

Well it seems to be a arDrone no? True it is cheap but perso I don't think this will make a good trainer quad.

A few other things that raise alarms bells
- brushed motor
- tiny gear box
- weak frame construction
- non standard prop

All this are recipe for emptying your wallet!

Mainly a quad for the mainstream no bother to build something but want to fly quad.
It does look very much like the AR Drone without the indoor foam. Open Pilot and Copter Control are my first experiences with ant type of RC Helicopter, as such I have been looking for a small quad to learn how to fly better (or at all) this seemed like a way to practice through the winter months inside. (I lost my first Copter Control due to a fly away lost orientation then the quad) I'm in the process of building my next.
Yea i think its a sweet orientation trainer just like the mCpX, the only issue i have with Blade is that the parts add up real quick when banging them around. ($$ wise that is)
