i've been lucky enough through work to visit some unusual places over the years. And today i was thinking about how some of them would be really cool to fly at. So here's a list i came up with
Pentridge Prison.
An old 1800's era prison where i once played a game of indoor cricket....
Its closed down now and the old part has been abandoned. a lot of the grounds have been turned into apartments, but the old bluestone buildings are heritage listed and therefore neglected. A very sad and spooky place, but also very picturesque.
And another macabre one
Sunbury Asylum.
Once again another collection of abandoned heritage buildings. these are all set atop a hill on the outskirts of sunbury. They look very much like an asylum should.
Used to be owned by victoria university, just been sold, get in while you can.
HAng on a sec, this one could be seen as yet more gothic influence....
Yarra bend park around the bat colony, and when they fly out a dusk would be cool..
