I paid $150 for a cc and I don't regret it for a minute. I had a naza that I bought new for $230 and sold for $200 and to this day, I don't miss it. My cc is worth what I spent and worth is in the eye of the beholder. I have an international economics degree and if I know one thing, it is the law of supply and demand.
My only regret is that the project couldn't be the ones to benefit from the premium instead of the seller I bought from. Perhaps if I was to ever sell mine, I could ask the same for what I paid and donate the premium to the project, though I doubt with cc3d on the way it'd fetch a premium any more.
Love my cc!

Yeah, that makes sense. I can understand paying that sort of money. My comment was in regards to how people can sell them and make such a profit. Your idea of donating money back if you were ever to see yours is good.
BTW, I just read your signature at the bottom of your post. LOL - I can really empathise with that. Luckily I am the only one who has the key for our postbox.

Beautiful airframe you have there juz! i am looking at the QAV500 myself.

I want to get pancake motors, but there is evidentally some compatibility issues with the SimonK firmware and the pancake motors, or at least the Tiger pancake motors. Did you just flash the regular SimonK "bs_nfet.hex" to your F-30As? How is this firmware working with those pancake motors? any problems with the ESC motor combo at all?

I hope to get an aircraft into the air some day with the capabilities of your fine craft!

Thanks for the great video.

Hi Lee
Yse, I am very inpressed and excited about the QAV500. Alex (enthlapy) flashed my escs for me, so I only know that they are simon k...they seem (as you can see) to work just fine with the FM 4008's. No cogging, resets or escs getting hot.
Hopefully I will really give the machine a good test soon.

IN the parts of the video that were FPV and doing forward flight, that was as smooth as a fixed wing, very impressive Juz.

this makes me think...
I cant compare cause I never flown a single blade heli...but with all the improvements of the last month...are there still advantages in fast forward flight compare to a multi?
would be cool to compare this

It's software guys, we need to make a new release that supports the CC3D but we want it to be the best release yet and there are some issues to resolve yet and some new code to merge. The test team has been getting their CC3Ds for a while now and that has two good points, one they can help find the issues, two they can help support people once we do a full release.

But there is no point rushing this and having issues with it, it's been too much work to rush it at the last hurdle. I need to be able to flash these with a release version of the software before I can ship them to people outside of the test team.
