Having a love of the Aussie bush and FPV pus living here equals lots of places to fly.

This is the one place I have been chompin at the bit to get out and FPV. Almost all of it was either a challenge or just pure nerves. If I wasn't dodging trees I was avoiding the water and kepping the sticks steady with shaky hands.

I hope to try and get more to more of these places.

Under pressure for time also as I had to be back in town by a certain time. So the 3km return walk to the large waterfalls (Butterfly Falls) was done at a very quick pace and I knew my legs were there after 500 (total) stairs.

Blackdown Tableland National Parks is around 170km west of Rockhampton and is a destination I have been really keen to fly. I can confidently say it has never been done here before.

I apologize for the jerkyness of the video I don't what is going on with it, was edited with windows Live Movie Maker. This is the second time this has happened and don't know how to fix it. I am waiting to get a new version of Pinnacle Studio (my preferred program) so I can edit the GoPro footage.

Fantastic video. Even though you say the "jumpiness" is unintended, added to the music, it gives that beautiful landscape a dreamlike, surreal feeling.

I take great enjoyment with sharing stuff like this.

I will put it out there though I am a slight "fraud" in these circles because I am using a NAZA flight controller now with a GPS. Not from lack of trying in the beginning though. A second hand CopterControl almost cost me the same as a brand new dji, so reasoning brought me to get the naza. So I am sorry if I have mislead anyone.

The cliff work was pre gps and the waterfalls were all in too much of a gorge to get a signal for the gps. Still would have dropped like a brick if I lost signal.

I should have another one coming early next week when I did a SES flood boat training course over the last four days.

More water, a weir, cockatoos, boats. Was fun.
