There would seem to be a few CopterControl boards available from time to time, and I would like to buy one from someone that has one to spare.

My original, previous post looking for a "spare CopterControl" might have given the false impression that I was looking for a freebie, but I assure you, that is not the case. I am more than willing to pay a fair price for one. :)

I've been working on the Wiki over the past few months and have reviewed and/or edited more than 140 pages of it. I'm looking forward to the CC3D release, but as I said in my other post, I think it would be handy to have one for future comparison.

Okay... I need one so I can take a flying pig for a ride and get a "TFP" award ;)

But seriously, I do think it would help my Wiki work if I had an original CopterControl to compare to the CC3D board I hope to have soon. Shipping is to a USA address. I have a USPS APO address, which is the same as shipping it USPS to New York. Easy peesy...

Free up those hobby dollars! You know you're going to get a CC3D soon, so help a brother out! B)

Respectfully,

Jack Russell

I have one I will send you no charge. It is a dev board so the accel isn't as awesome as the production ones (clone sensor). It still flies great none the less. If that is fine, you can send me a couple bucks for shipping and the board is all yours.

I got the dev board free once upon a time from dankers. I am not using it. I would gladly pass it on to someone willing to help with the project.

Also, it sounds like you are in the military and are overseas? This is the least I can do!

I'm not in the military any more. Spent a good while in the USAF back in the day, but got a bit too old for military service...

I'm a civilian contractor working for the military now, putting in communications infrastructure on the base. Concrete encased conduit in the ground, manholes, fiber optic cables, copper phone cables... that sort of thing. Stuff the military usually only does "tactically" to get started, and then we come in and make it more "strategic"...i.e...permanent for them. Good work, if ya can get it! That is, if 115-120 degrees during the day doesn't bother you, or more dust than you've ever seen in your life... or the occasional rocket attack. But, I digress...

I will definitely put it to good use! There's no substitute for "first hand knowledge"...

Another large THANK YOU to 3rdEyePro for the Copter Control... I got it set up on my big tri today, and couldn't stop saying, "Wow!" It is soooo much more stable than the other boards I've tried. Wow.

I owe ya bigtime!

APO mail delivery to here averages about 7 days. I've received stuff in as little as 5 days, and sometimes it takes 8 or 10, but most stuff shows up in 7... They do a pretty good job with the incoming mail. Sending stuff back home, on the other hand, takes 2 weeks...
