Via state estimation. 2 meter wingspan. Main sensor is a 2d laser scanner. The garage video is impressive.

Very nice. A few centimeters from obstacles tis crazy when you add the fact its computer controlled :)

Nick Roy's group. Russ Tedrake is either very jealous or very happy. I love that they achieved 10 m/s. I'd like to know if they have a priori information about the environment. I suspect based on what they say that they do.

Thanks for the great video, really impressive. Navigation technology is progressing at an incredible rate. Now where is that vehicle that will automatically drive me 98km to the office every day???? :(

Yeah, they do - they are using a pre-built map of the environment.
