Hello everyone i was wondering if I could get some help. I have some parts laying around and I would like to use them. Some of the I have not had luck with on other quads and since CopterControl Boards are so hard to come by I would like your input on either not it is compatible or can be made compatible.

Tiger Motor ESC 18a-

Tiger Motor ESC 40a-

Hyperion Atlas 25a-

3DR GPS uBlox LEA-6-

Thank You, any and all help is appreciated.

Note: The instructions for the CopterControl Board states: "In some rare cases or on high-end ESCs the ESC doesn't perform correctly without connecting the additional ground signal. In those cases it may be necessary to connect the ground wire to the ESC." Is thats the case for any of these?

I have read any number of anecdotal reports of people leaving all the wires connected, no matter which ESC they're using. In 6 months, I can't remember seeing anyone complain of a problem however they connected an ESC (that's not to say it hasn't happened). It's very easy to take the pins out, and that's what I do, just to avoid any possible conflict, but I'm not using "high end"...

I'll be interested in what anyone else has to say about it...

News Flash! So I think that the 40a Tiger ESCs run the SiLabs chip that is in the newer Plush ESCs. The chipset that everyone seems to love that works seamlessly is the slightly older Turnigy Plush ESCs that run the Atmel chipset. I will delve further and see what I turn up. I might just start a spreadsheet of ESCs that work and dont work and possibly now I might be able to add links on what to do. I am very new to all of this Multirotor stuff and its seems that I dove straight into the deep end so any and all help is welcome.

There's already a spreadsheet and list and lots of info.... Out of time at the moment, but I'll send you some links at lunchtime today.

When leaving all pins in, the ESC/BEC tends to run a lot hotter. When using HK F30A ESC's, I had severe syncing problems when I had only the signal wire connected, these problems disappeared when I connected both signal and ground wires.
