Hi,

If it helps, I have found on an other forum this thesis :

http://tel.archives-...RERO_TelHal.pdf

It seems that this approach give out good results.

Ok it is in french but who does not speak french  :P ?

One day I would give it a try (If I understand and have openpilot store open).

Cheers.

Well, I for one do not speak French. But I found this paper (in English) by the same author on the control portion of that thesis to be intriguing: http://www.nt.ntnu.n...papers/2621.pdf

Thanks for finding that Roy, I was wondering what it said.

We already do bounded rate control thanks to Les, so essentially we already implement what they suggest. The rest is proof of correctness,, convergence and robustness. Good to know we're provably right given all the assumptions.

Does OP utilize quaternion feedback?

Not currently but that was something I was actually planning to before reading.  That being said, I don't think that's relevant for their result.
