hi everyone,

just wanted to share my experiance in changing my Boscam 400mw (353) from Band A to E

i bought my TX from readymaderc (not paying attention that it was Band A)

my RX setup was Band E.

after reading/comparing photos from different forums it came down to removing 2 resistors from the board , which is used to set the Bands.

this is how

Band A (readymaderc version)looks like:

Attached File  Boscam-Band-A-2.JPG   176.25KB   66 downloads

Band E (foxtechfpv version) (pic from Rcgroups)

Attached File  Boscam-Band-E.jpg   298.68KB   76 downloads

the 2 resistors i removed using a pointed razor

Attached File  Boscam-Band-A.JPG   224.46KB   61 downloads

so

Band A Pin3 and Pin4 has resistors  (or can be bridged with no resistors)

Band E Pin3 and Pin4 open

Band B Pin3 open , Pin4 bridged

Band reference

thx

the 400mw tx is really good.

i had the 1watt for trail , but it was bulky and had a big fan ontop of it .

i tried the 400mw today and it gave me the same performance as the 1watt in 500-700 meter range, which is what i need.
