There is nothing at all wrong with those motors. I have enjoyed smooth trouble free flights for months with them. They are cheap, provide good power and have been great. You can see in my videos that they perform just fine.
I just want more midrange pop. I'll probably use those motors on another machine.

All kidding aside, simply amazing stuff. I aspire to one day be a tenth as talented! Keep the absolutely incredible videos coming. Whenever someone new asks me what a Quad is, I just show some of one of your videos and they stand there slack jawed!

Note that this one doesn't count since the crash was not your fault but a mechanical error.
You're still the best pilot I've ever seen. Keep posting those vids.... It's a pleasure to look at each and everyone of them.

I have the RCTimer 2830-14 750KV w/RCTimer 30A ESC's, 3s 3000MAh battery and the same FPV and GoPro. If I use the three bladed 9.5" props its very smooth but it takes about 2/3 throttle to hover, if I use the 10" props I can hover about half throttle but the motors heat up.
I was going to trying switching to 4s with the three bladed props to see if that would give it a bit more performance.
Just curious which motors you decided to try. These are new version of the motor your using, have you tried these? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=12921

Sure. The battery is located just behind the gopro and is separated from it by a nylon standoff and a small chunk of foam (a little crash protection).
