Glad you like it :-)

I also think it's a perfect fit. Problem is that cutting these is quite some work, so they'll probably end up around 25$ (20€).

Havnt checked in here in a while.  Any developments in the tuning department?  Was there ever a consensus about what the magic PID numbers are for a Q30 with gopro and fpv gear?  You guys I sure are alot better at tuning than me.

Juz has posted his settings for the Q40 in the other thread... these values should work okay for the Q30 as well. A friend of mine currently is searching for the best settings as well. I'll tell him to post them when he found good ones.

I personally am flying with another control (Plejad Copter Control), as my OP-CopterControl is currently making trouble (GCS crashes every time i connect the board).

That sucks Felias. Did you try backing up your settings and upgrading the firmware and GCS?

It's funny you're using the Plejad Copter Control - his shop is my souce for props for the Quadrixette 30 :-)

Ok so there was a problem with my 10A escs and it looks like i need to find another solution.  would it be overkill to use 20 amp escs on this frame with the motors that felias recommended?  I'll be carrying a gopro, gimbal, and fpv gear.

Bigger amps will work just the same, but you'll have to carry more weight of course. There will be no more power or anything (as long as the motors don't pull more than 10a) though.

Thanks for your reply.   So you're saying that all I would be doing is adding more weight because those motors will
Not spin faster with 20a escs compared to 10a escs?  I also have some 12a escs that I could use but they cannot be flashed with Simon k firmware.  Which do you think is the better option? Maybe I just order some more 10a escs?

The amount of Ampere a BEC can produce is always the maximum. You could use 100A-BECs if you like, but it would be quite an overkill :-)

All you need are 10a-Amps, but 12A wouldn't hurt. Then again using Simon K's firmware is always a plus :-) So i'd look out for those.
