Due to a defective component on all CopterControl boards in the latest batch (Those that were destined for distributors in Dec 2011), they will all need to be reworked. Since this could not have happened at a worse time for the project, there is no ETA at this time. I would like to remind the community that it is counter productive to ask the same questions over and over again as the team is busy dealing with the fall out. PMs and emails asking about the next batch will regretfully go unanswered. There is now a production status page in the news menu on the OpenPilot homepage, or you can book mark :

I will "Personally" be keeping this page up to date with the latest information as it becomes available to the community. At the moment we do not have an ETA. If you wish to help the project through this difficult time, we can all start by not letting our misfortune become the target of online drama. I love this project and want us all flying OpenPilot but the truth is, nothing good is ever easy
EDIT: Dec 12, 2011
- at this time, some boards are being sold at the global store http://store.openpilot.org/ - this is small amounts at a time as they are being reworked.
- Some distros will be selling boards around mid december, so now is the time to check at your distro!
