Hi Dankers,

I have been waiting for only a month but if I am lucky enough to get a board now it would sure be great.  I goofed, and wasted time and money on a HK board that didn't work so my quad is built and ready to fly but no FC.  After looking at Copter Control I have decided that this is the board to use.  Hope I'm Lucky enough to get a board now but if not I will keep waiting.

Thanks for the oportunity.

Frank

im always missing my chance Dankers right back to the last time you PMed me months ago but i am in a pickle :( on the one hand i have never bought a CC board and would like to but on the other hand i very kind member of the community donated me a board on Friday which is in the post even as we speak :) see my predicament?

so fairest thing i can think of is leave me off this 100 list :( but....

if you do this again can i get on that list please? that way 2 people might enjoy this board for Christmas :D and i get on a defo list for early next year hopefully? would that sound reasonable?

WOW!
These are some great , unexpected news!
Thought that it would take a long long time for me to get a cc and get  up in the air again after I lost my tricopter.
But now it seems to me there's an oportunity to make it sooner than expected.

Dankers we all are so greatfull for this great service!

Hope to make it to get one.

Hi Dankers,

I've been lurking for quite a while waiting patiently to see how the pro version develops. In the mean time I'd very much like to be considered for a CC board, to get me in the air and testing it in readiness for the pro.

Regards

Ken

I first learned about the CC board when a friend mentioned he bought one. We both had a Paris board and then a Quadrino board and while they work pretty well, neither of us was completely satisfied with them. My friend has said the CC board is much better and I've been watching since September but haven't been able to get one. If that qualifies me for your list, I would be thrilled to be on it. If not, I will continue to do what I've been doing, checking the online stores every morning.  :)

Thanks.
- Matt

I'm on the list with FliteLab (AFAIK), but if he doesn't get any, then I would like a couple (one for me and one for a friend).

Thanks,
Bruce.

Bruce - You will be pretty close to right at the cutoff point on the waiting list based on what I expect to receive.  I will email everyone on the list once they boards arrive to confirm who is in or out of this batch.  Plus some may dropout, etc.  I'll do what I can to get you in.

Since we are especially trying to emphasize people that have been trying for a while, if you are first posting here but could link to anything elsewhere (e.g. RCG) from a while back that shows you've been trying that will help too ;)

I would like one too so I can give the board I use now back to it's rightful owner. Are the boards shipped from the local stores, Portugal in my case? Tax, TVA and declaration costs would increase the price for Belgium by almost 50%.

EDIT: I will try to buy one from the Portugese store or the next batch so don't count me in.

No the ones from store.openpilot.org  will be direct from down under.  Dave has competitively priced shipping (except to some areas).  The distros will be getting their own boards and have independent systems of allocating them, etc.  This is an attempt to make sure that the people that have been trying for a while really have a fair chance.

Many thanks for doing this guys.  I've been looking for one for 3-4 months so may not be as eligible as some but would like to be considered if possible.  I may be able to help out with S/W dev as well, but would like to try on real hardware before putting my hand up.

As always, great initiative David!
I would certainly want one. I missed the last batch to the european store by just a few seconds. But I only want one if I'm not taking away a board from a real developer or a more active contributor. I'm a real RC newbie so it's difficult for me to contribute to the wiki or help with the programming. I do check the forums daily and try to read up on everything... I have almost all components for my first quad available. It's going to be a quadrixette nano. I'm still waiting for my order from HobbyKing because the Turnigy Plush 6A ESC's are on backorder. They are on backorder for quit some weeks already. When my order from HobbyKing arrives I have everything except the flight controller.
With the new Revo I know we really need some help for the GCS. So, I wouldn't mind waiting longer for a board when there are possible SW developers/contributors/... also waiting for a board.
