Greetings,

Here's the update.  I'll keep the home page of my web store updated as this progresses.

http://www.shop.aglhobbiesllc.com/

Cheers,

Rusty

12-15-11

The next batch of CC boards is here.  This batch will be half the usual amount due to the gyro issues, and other distribution considerations.  I plan to break it up into 3 smaller groups, and will place them in inventory at different times to hopefully give everyone at least a shot at buying one.

The schedule will be:

1st group- 12-15-11, Thursday Night at 9pm Central time.

2nd group- 12-16-11, Friday Morning at 9am Central time

3rd group-  12-17-11, Saturday Night at 9pm Central time.

I will only be selling to US locations! As before, there will be a limit of one board per person, per batch.  If I see that someone (or the same IP address <g>) orders more than one board, I will cancel the second order and place the board back in inventory.  If there's an order with a non US shipping location, I will be forced to cancel that as well.

I'll have a limited number of accessory items this time as well, and will get them added to the site before the boards go on sale.  Those will likely be limited to one of each per person as well.

News will always be posted here on OP, and on my web site.  In this case, I actually posted the info to RCG first, but only on the latest thread.  I won't be participating in the old thread anymore.

Ya know what I'm thinking? Probably not, but I'm thinking 'why bother'.  The people who want to be part of the OP community are on this site.  With the availability issues, why not offer the boards first to people who are here and don't have one.

I've never had a problem buying CC boards when I wanted one. Then again, I'm not hanging out at drama central.

It's just my $.02.  :)

cheers

Kirk
PS. I think you were right about the sticky nonsense.

Should be yes, our shipment is en route.

Rusty, Things sure have changed since you first told me about the OpenPilot project :D .

I would like to say thanks as it looks like I wont be buying OP stuff from you any more since you helped us to lift the Candians out of the shipping and customs quagmire, but I just want to go on record here in this thread as say thanks and what a great postive experience you have made this for me and the 3 other people who fly my models - even during the QC troubles we have been having getting the OP hardware out. You, your products, your site and your attitude are a credit to our hobby and I know where to send anyone who wants a great customer service experience. If you are working with Rusty to get OpenPilot Hardware, you are in great hands people.

Thanks again bro!
Franco
PS unless flitelab starts bringing in your custom frames, I will always be knocking on your door for your non-OP stuff :P

I thought about that, but before I could decide, David announced that he's doing that with 100 boards, so it saves me from the nightmare of trying to keep all that straight.  I thought about a lottery of sorts too, but that would be an even bigger nightmare.

Having staggered times is about the best method I can think of that doesn't cause too much pain and suffering.

Cheers,
Rusty

Thanks for the kind comments.  Of course it's pretty obvious that Franco's either sucking up for some sort of discount, or the cold is starting to affect his brain :D

 Busted? You are too smart for me man ^_^ , its both :P but seriously, call it what you want, Im here because of you, I have my first CC because of you, and now it looks like I wont be buying OP stuff from you and I feel "indebted" (in a good way) and so , as I tend to do, I say what I mean and mean what I say, I want people to know they are in great hands, however, since its you, you can think of it any way you like, bottom line, Rusty = Integrity.

For the time zone impaired, we're under one hour now until round one :-)

Good luck,

Ya, I had two browsers going, added one on each because they each were so sluggish, finally got through on one but it said I had two in the cart and that screwed me as I tried to remove one and by the time it came back they were sold out. :(

Wow.  First build ever, this is a bit frustrating.
Thanks for listening,
Bill
