basically, hold it from two sides, and check if it wants to go one way or the other.
then do the other two sides.
if they both stay stay where you hold them, it's balanced

Na; it has nothing to do with any thing, apart to look good.

NOT -SURE.
For us short bus people....it appears that the bulk of the weight will be off center, towards the front. Do you have to do anything special to it for flight, like make the front motors more powerful?

You guys really haven't seen this type of design before?
You need to get out more...
LOL. Yes seriously. All the best quadcopter FPVers are flying VC-450 frames. Sure we've seen this type of frame before, but not in G10, which is way better than carbon or aluminium for FPV. We know what we're talking about.
okay, well I decided to use some 18A escs I have lying around, instead of waiting for my 25As to arrive. I just want to test this thing out. I just hope that the 18A plush will be up to the task.

Here it is
No FPV video though. Still installing the FPV gear. This is my maiden (LOS) flight. I flew with mostly stock CopterControl settings (inner and outer loop) though I did increase the full stick rate to 230 for R P Y. I also increased the mix level for yaw to 80. . I need more aggressive yaw and roll, pitch was fine. Tips anyone?
However, I'm a shit LOS pilot and only an FPV flight will give me a true indication of how it flys. Hopefully tomorrow.

But whats about the x-camo and the x-turtle design?
- x-camo: hard to find in case of "unintended landings"
- x-turtle: "unintended landings"? no problem, gives at least a nice soup
- 2012 = "no unintended landings" this year, but a lot of nice soups!
Take care...Dieter
