I am guessing this is voltage related, as I try to tune the CC I find this issue coming up consistantly.

It seems whenever I have a " small accident ( Fall over/flip) I need to relaod the firmware and redo the settings to get it back into the air.
I also happens when
I get a low battery condition ( I am running 2s )
Even unplugging amd replugging in the battery.
Last night I left the craft working fairly well when I went to bed.
This morning I plugged it in and It was irratic/unflyable

Here are the symptoms.
Z axis on the compass is spinning fairly quickly and dos not stop.
Yaw meter on the CGS moves back and forth full scale and does not stop ( I unplug the receiver to see if this is an issue but nothing changes.)
throttle becomes very touchy and gose from idle to full throttle in a very qiickly ( 2 clicks of trim )
This along with a couple other "issues"

It never seems to happen in flight, but if I have to replace a battery, I can be sure that I will be redoing all of the settings as well.

I relaod the firmware, and it seems I also need to redo all of the settings, and it is fine until the next time.
I am lucky to get a full battery through before I have to do the same thing again.

I spend 75% of my time reloading firmware and redoing settings and 25% in flight setup, have yet to get more than 3 feet off of the ground.
Hope this is information that helps
Paul

I think you'll find that the next release of software (GCS & firmware) will address this problem (hopefully).

This is in an advanced state of testing, to be released as soon as it is judged to be ready.

Hey, thanks for the reply,
So this is a known issue?
Is there a workaround in the meantime.
I can not even use the board, and I am sure not everyone is having this issue, or it would never have been released..

thanks to the IRC
I have identifies my issues, yes issues, i believe 2 of them.

1: I understand there is an issue regarding the gyros going crazy if the power is quickly switched on and off. I think it was referred to as the 30 second rule.

2: Since I am using 2s, my little flips land on the props stalling the motors causing the esc's to draw enough power to pull my vcc down to brownout, which as I also understand id another issue with the flash memory on the chip.
So between the two issues, I was having all types of issues, but atleast now i know why, and hopefully this will help spome others as well

hopefully a fix will be along shortly
Cheers
Paul
