Hi Andre...I was thinking about reaming out, just check as the arms are only 12mm. You don't want to weaken the arms. Maybe the answer is to keep the Avroto mounts.

With the Avroto, I would use the 11x4.7, unless they don't fit within the space. So the AUW should be about 1835g including the Gopro. Its amazing how the weight just seems to add on. But you should be okay with a 3S you can have an AUW of about 2200g.

Cheers
Rob

Hey hey it flys .
I just had my maiden flight and this thing got plenty off power. Not had any tuning so far just up the Kp to 3,5 and Ki to 3 i mount my batt under the CC for CG.
will load video on vimeo and post it here when done.

I am all :D its now to mount the GoPro , dont think im going to get it out off the view with the 11" props.

AUW with 2200maH batt is 1350g

it a nice feeling if a plan comes together and i dont have the vibration problems so far.

cool... looking forward to the video...

i think even with 10" props .. you will still have the props in view...

i will maybe mount my gopro upside down... on a slight angle

I struggle to get this video on the net will do asap

I have connect the gopro on it and i do get props in view but will mount the gopro on a angle think will help allot.
I have 2batt on the moment 1800mah 3S witch i get about 5min flight time and i got a 2200mah where i get about 7,5min flight time Hover.
Really not bad if i can get a batt where i can get about 10min flight time i will be more than happy.
Will post pics as soon as i can off the complete build.

I must play with some settings to get it as stable as possible.

I have done some tuning now because i have quit powerfull motors I dont need as Hi Kp

my settings at off this point i only fly in attitude mode
rate settings is stock exsept the yaw mine is at 0,011000

Attitude Kp=1,8 Ki=6,5
Yaw Kp=4.0  Ki=0

What i did find is i can desent much faster without quad wobble to much , reactions is a bit slugish so copter does not want to corect itself in wind as much.
It gets blown by wind but without wobble it very smooth.
I gave taken a video where i positioned the GoPro without the Props in view, and it was quit windy and im surprised about the stability but just remember im a noob pilot.
