Planning to buy a GoPro next month but which one.  I want to take video from my quad.  Not doing FPV yet but thinking about it.  Would the Naked Hero do or should I be looking at one of the Hero 1080 models.  Is the extra cost worth it?  You guys have steered me right so far so trust your recommendations.  Thanks  for all the help.

I would go with the new model, it as better lens, better low light, and more optiosn for FOV.

But if your looking to save money the GoPro Naked or GoPro 960 are fien to start.

If youe looking for a cheaper HD solution, look at the #11 or #16 keychain cams.  Very small and light and great performance for around $40. http://www.rcgroups....d.php?t=1556994  I end up using these more than the GoPro sinve I can stick it on any plane or quad or my hat very easily.

Thanks flitelab.

That keychain camera does fit my budget a lot better.  As I am not sure yet about FPV flying I think I will give one a try.  I can see and review my goofs while flying (Hat) or just look around from in the air.

Thanks again Frank

The recommended seller for the #11 and #16 I use is http://stores.ebay.com/eletoponline365
Shipping is rather slow but free and the seller is very helpful and good to respond to emails.

You'll need a micro SD card as well.

Costco had the 960 for $139. I think this is the old model.

Thanks again Flitelab.  Just ordered one including the SD Card.  Just under $50.00 including Free shipping.  I will post a video when I get it working for me.  Definatly not up to Juz's standard but I'll do my best.
