All this rain is giving me withdrawals... I would like to have something to look forward to, any chance there is some interest in a meet any time soon.

and we can look for bits of the meteor as well :P

Next weekend could work for me too. Lemmie check the weather.
My 500-sized frame is now a 440 because I broke off 60 mm of the arms in a crash. Should make it interesting!

Weather looks bad, rain and cold...

Potatoes don't swim!  You should use a whiches broom (I can't use the correct spelling, it would ruin your google streak).

First weekend that has good weather then although the weekend of 24th I'm busy!  WTF is this Houston weather anyway?

Yes, I did some testing earlier this season and determined that 50 degrees is my low-cutoff point, and that 40 degress will crash my quad because my fingers stop working in about 10 minutes. Also my eyes water like crazy when it's cold and blowing.

60s work fine for me, as long as we don't get too much rain the day before.

If we do, here's the spot:

The entrance is off Pinemont. The field has a little driveway kind of thing in the NW corner. Follow the red path to the dot which is on the south side of the field. I park there because this is not an offically approved place to be and I try to keep it low-key and not attract attention... :)

I go there after work -- it's a nice end to the day for sure. If you go, as you enter, stay to the right and you will see tire tracks. Follow them along the bayou that is on your right. Eventually you will see a hill that marks the southwest corner of the field. You can either drive in front of the hill or behind it to get along the southern edge of the field. After you make that turn, I park where the the red dot is on my map. The grass in the field is 4"-12" in various places, but I've never encountered mud yet. The grass does get deep near the hill in the SW corner.

I wish I could meet up with you today but I'm in the middle of converting over to an EzUHF system and my quad and Tx are not in flying order. Let me know if you go and what you think!
