How many of you guys have tested your quads for endurance and what were the results?

This flight time is amazing.  Yes, I know that being indoors it was ideal since the machine didn't need to fight as much to stabilize, but it's still impressive.

Well indeed it's cool, but this company sell kits for an arms and a legs to tell the price is not even public on the site.

Let's start this kind of challenge between us it doesn't have to cost much. That will show to most people why balancing motor and prop is actually much more important then people think.

I was much more impressed by the 45min flight done with a 4S 8000mah by the guy of mikrokopter in germany.

With unlimited funding what do you think Matt our local builder superstar could do!

not bad... the german police bought some (3) quadrocopter of microdrones couple years ago (i think they payed 50.000€ for one)

with that amount of money i´m sure i could pay smart people to build something better :D

but still respect... thats a new benchmark to beat

ME.....

just kidding. got my first flight today got 25minutes on a 3000mah 3s pack.

quad in the vid. weighs 320gram without battery ( i can easaly get it at 280grams). 4x hacker 20-50s is good for 1460gram trust.
I think it can also pull a 8000mah with ease or is that out of my leaque?

But to be be honest, even with unlimited funding I wouldn't know what to buy to achieve flight times like this...

I'm in :-)  anything over 30 minutes is an achieve ment, at that stage up to 75% of your weight is battery, and efficiency plays the biggest part

looks like yours takes 110 watts/kg to hover, flying weight of 592 grams

at 3S 8000 mah all up weight will be 1045 grams, best guess watts per kg will increase to 120 , so i reckon all up flight time = 34 minutes, and you dont want to go much heavier (run out of control)

if ya drop your weight to 280 grams, flight time would be closer to 27 minutes

the magic 30 minutes is hard :)
