Awesome work Bani!  Be aware that if you use gyro suppress that also works a bit like expo.

Thanks.

On VBarSensitivity=1 it is difficult to do a hover (for me anyway) because it is very nervous. So for me to still have control I used expo to calm it down around mid stick. For non Expo Tx one could make VBarSensitivity=f(Stick input), like 0.5 at mid stick, but 1 at full stick. Just a thought. (for someone to need that kind of agility, he would probably have an expo enabled radio.)

I am already on 12 deg pitch with swash almost binding, so only way to get a even faster roll is to increase head speed or move the ball link on the blade holder inwards for few extra degrees pitch. But either way I think increased agility lies with the bird and not the control algorithm. It is already too hot to handle for my skill level, so I doubt I will go down that path.

http://dl.dropbox.co...22-ee10c1ee.dmg -- remember this is a testing release only so you may sacrifice your quad :)

I have installed the new firmware. The quad is stable, but exhibits tbs (toilet bowl syndrome). It circulates ccw. I guess if I were below the equator it would circulate cw. I had this same phenomena with my first coaxial copter. This occurred when the flybar was not properly adjusted. I must assume that this is some form of oscillation. With my llama I would adjust the link of the flybar to the propeller. What is the analogous adjustment with vbar? gyro tau? Kp?

Can you try just increasing the yaw tuning first to see if that will go away.  Also verify you don't have the piro comp mode enabled.

Piroette comp is false. When you mention increase yaw turning, I am confused. Do you mean vbaryawPI?

Wait are you using vbar for yaw?  I haven't tried that but wouldn't recommend it.  I mean the normal RateKp and RateKi

I am not using vbar for yaw. I am using rate. I will increase rate KPI for yaw and reply with results.
