Tell me on the ecalc it you must put in weight does this Attached File  Screen-shot-2012-02-21-at-11.01.13-PM.jpg   266.25K   28 downloads  incl the batt weight or not?

Yes, "incl drive" means ready to fly, including the battery = AUW

Yes - "incl. Drive" means everything, including batteries, motors, etc.

You'll find, I think, that using it with the "without Drive" setting makes the whole thing easier to understand and more useful. Weigh your craft (including gimbal/camera) without motors, ESCs and batteries and input that number on the top line. Now you can play endless "what if?" games with different motors, batteries and ESCs.

Remember to set "charge" to "full" and "Motor cooling" to "excellent".

I leave mine on normal, if you use Full its going to fluff up the flight times.  Your battery drops voltage under load, dont fool your self with fluffed numbers.

My understanding is that the battery charge choice indicates the starting condition of your battery. The formulae correctly account for the voltage drop under load - the figure appears on the first line line of the last block. If you did a fast charge to 80% in the field, then it would be appropriate to select "Normal".
