You act like making ESC's don't cut into R&D funds ;-) Right now I'm working to make sure that the ESC's can easily have the firmware upgraded via CopterControl/Revo as well as using that method to change the settings. The goal of our stuff is always easy to use for the average user and that's 10x the work of simply making them work for one or two hacker minded people 
I've been working on them a fair bit this month and have made some big strides and have a pile to start stuffing. However, like normal: they're ready when they're ready

Say the word and I'm sure there will be a bunch of us ready.
