As the title says, need to put a patch on the server, just downloading them now.
I will give it about three hours from this post and update this post with an hour to go and 10 minutes to go etc.

OK, so this is in Russian but very big news. Oleg has offered to translate this when he has time (but he is busy with his 3D printer

The videos say a lot already. The next step is to get this a GUI to control everything.

I found this interesting:
Around the 6 minute mark.
Bruce has a beta board from about 1 year ago, I sent it him for his thoughts before we released the CC but he was too busy. So we are at a disadvantage already there as that has a poor accel on it and we never sold them. However I was slightly puzzled by some of the comments about value.
I have a dirty secret and I have flown a Naza (and I can also fly to a good level), it is a great beginner board but it most certainly does not perform as well as the CC, CC flies rings around it especially when pushed. The Naza has a real limited feature set as well, no Spektrum support, no S.Bus support, no PPM support, only muttirotor support etc etc. Of course, if this was not the case and we were behind, we would work our asses off at improving CC to ensure that it was better anyway. The advantage of the Naza is it is easier to set up because it is more limited and more suited to newbies, the altitude hold works well also but it is limited and easy to out grow.
Should be fun to see what he finds but I do not like that he seems to be pre-postioning that an Open Source or a cheaper board is worse, it is not the case at all. Would feel much better about this if he wasn't asking DJI for freebies....

Sanity check for arming the airframe
20 March 2012 - 11:36 PM
This is a great question that we need to really think about, an example would be not arming the airframe if height hold mode was selected, this could be bad.
Please see this Jira and add any comments that you think we must check for before a user can arm the Revo.

Andy Lester posted the following article on his blog and it is a question that comes up a lot, this is worth reading:

This is important for all of us as OpenPilot is only as strong as the community and can only continue if there is people who are willing to get involved and help out.
