Just want to say this: there are 200 CC3Ds on order, as soon as they get back and they work, a further 500 will be ordered. The first 200 should be 3 weeks away, delays and other things can happen but that is the time scales I am working too.

Hi Dave,

I've got fingers, and toes crossed for a good yeild on these boards. You guys are really due for a break from all the manufacturing headaches.

Good to hear you got it working Randy.  I always dread doing stuff like this, because it seems like it's never easy.  I fully expect the next time I try it, it won't work the same as it did last time.  It's probably some sort of programming practical joke...

Now that you've got the Foss, what isn't working?  I was never able to get the bootloader process from the wiki to work, but I've done this with a different program that Dave sent.  I also never got it to work when I momentarily connected the solder jumpers, so I solder them until the initial load is complete.

The easiest solution would be to send the board to me, or actionplus (I hate usernames).  Either of us could likely fix anything that's wrong with it far quicker than trying to do it remotely.  At the moment, I'd recommend sending it to him, since I'm heading out of town for a few days, and he seems to have the knack when it comes to reflowing gyro chips.

That's good to know about not worrying about the temp drift issues with the DYS ESC's. I dont intend on flying in extreme weather conditions anyways. I'll probably just install the DYS ones, unless my HK order gets here quickly.

Aren't the F30's easy to flash since the pads are all in a row? The blue series one (hkz30a) seems to be more difficult due to the pads being at various places on the board.

Correct.  The DYS are in a row as well, but the spacing is just a little different from the F30.
