12 December 2011 - 04:04 PM

Greetings,

Here's the update.  I'll keep the home page of my web store updated as this progresses.

12-15-11

The next batch of CC boards is here.  This batch will be half the usual amount due to the gyro issues, and other distribution considerations.  I plan to break it up into 3 smaller groups, and will place them in inventory at different times to hopefully give everyone at least a shot at buying one.

The schedule will be:

1st group- 12-15-11, Thursday Night at 9pm Central time.

2nd group- 12-16-11, Friday Morning at 9am Central time

3rd group-  12-17-11, Saturday Night at 9pm Central time.

I will only be selling to US locations! As before, there will be a limit of one board per person, per batch.  If I see that someone (or the same IP address <g>) orders more than one board, I will cancel the second order and place the board back in inventory.  If there's an order with a non US shipping location, I will be forced to cancel that as well.

I'll have a limited number of accessory items this time as well, and will get them added to the site before the boards go on sale.  Those will likely be limited to one of each per person as well.

How many people are using S.Bus?

13 November 2011 - 03:45 AM

Greetings,

Ever since Futaba came out with their S.Bus receivers, I've been hoping it would get adopted for multi-copter use.  I've personally pestered MK on a number of occasions, but they ignore me as always.  HoverFly said they would support it, but I don't think they've gotten around to it yet.  Fortunately, OpenPilot has it B)

I set this up yesterday with the tiny Futaba R6203SB receiver on the main port, and an XBee on the Flexi port, and all I can say is WOW!!!  Now this is what a receiver interface should be :D

If any of the programmers speak German, can you tell the MK duo how to make this work :P

Thanks,
Rusty

CC boards for the US

16 August 2011 - 11:00 PM

Greetings,

I was waiting for a more formal announcement before I mentioned anything, but since I'm getting PMs and emails, the word must be out.  It appears that I'll be a proud distributor of the CC boards in the US and (probably) Canada   B)

There's no ETA yet, but it shouldn't be too much longer.  I'm guessing by the end of the month.

There will probably be 100 boards, and I'm imposing a limit of two per person for this batch.

I'm not keeping any sort of list for people who want these.  The board is listed on my web store with zero stock, and there's an "in stock notification" feature you can sign up for.  I have no visibility to that list, and can't even tell how many people are on it, so there's no bias. Once I post inventory on the site, my understanding is that everyone will get notified at the same time.  That's as fair as I can think to make it.

Here's the link- http://www.shop.aglh...trol-Board.html

As a side note, I hate PMs, and I typically disable them on every forum I use.  I've never understood why people want 50 different message systems when they have email.  Getting an email to tell me I have a message is pretty silly if you think about it.  I'm turning it off here as well.  You can contact me via email using the forum, or through email at the web store, which is rusty@aglhobbiesllc.com.

Cheers,
Rusty

How many people are using FeedForward?

28 July 2011 - 06:24 PM

Greetings,

I've been hitting the wall as far as what can be done with Kp and Ki tuning, and was thinking of giving FeedForward a try.  I found the documentation page, so I've got enough info to be dangerous, but before I waste a bunch of time (and props) on it, can anyone verify that it's currently working, and worth trying?

Thanks,
Rusty
