I've only recently become interested in quadcopters.
My background is designing sonar systems. I am comfortable working with software or hardware, analogue or digital. I've done SPICE modelling and done PCB layout and I'm not especially frightened by mathematics.
BUT, I know nearly nothing about radio control aircraft. Now I have some stuff to play with, but I am a hopeless pilot and crash all the time.
My Avatar is from the Father's Day card my 6 year old drew.
